Christmas time again! Are you fed up of the usual boring films that repeat and seem to creep every year? Have you checked out your local cinema? The Magic Flute (PG)

On the eve of the first global war a magical drama unfolds as Tamino sets forth on a perilous journey in pursuit of love, light and peace in a world afflicted by darkness, death and destruction. An eerie quiet descends over landscape still untouched by conflict as Tamino waits anxiously with his fellow recruits for the command to go into battle. In the ensuing chaos he is transported to a twilight world caught between dream and nightmare where a trio of field nurses rescues him from certain death.

But if film is not your thing and you are after a magical experience then quite possibly the pantomime at the assembly hall in Royal Tunbridge Wells is just the thing for you. To enjoy an evening full of song and dance and delights to share in the merriment of Christmas, the Assembly hall in Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent is showing Cinderella from the 15th of December onwards.

The show stars starring Sarah Thomas (Last of the Summer Wine), Barney Harwood (CBBC) & Jason Smith (Home & Away), favourite carols with school children & the Kent Messenger Band, all stores will be closed during the concert.
